Sales assistant (Bilingual Chinese-English preferred) (Entry level welcome)

Ningbo Herb USA (DBA Best Global Nutrition) is GMP, ISO, HACCP, FSS, OU, Halal, Organic, NSF certified, specialized in the extraction of botanical resources serving the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage industry. We are one of the largest turmeric manufacturers in the world.

Our headquarter in China was founded in 1956. We expanded our operation and bought a new production facility in 2017.

We are looking for two sales assistants to provide necessary support to our growing sales team and will also participate in daily operations.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Answer phone calls and screen appropriately

Fulfill requests from clients and attend to issues and/or inquiries

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service

Maintain customer notes and information database to ensure accurate information

Create and update various forms, process customer purchase orders & sample requests daily.

Work closely with sales account managers and provide support when sales are travelling

Create and modify worksheets in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Docs

Qualifications & Skills Required

High school degree or above, Food/Nutrition Science, Business, Technical background, or equivalent preferred

Proactive in finding information required to complete tasks.

Strong writing and speaking skills

Flexible to work in a multi-functional position

Ability to quickly learn and retain new information

Strong internet and Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, & Excel)

Attention to detail, high level of organization, and ability to follow instructions

Strong organizational skills

Must be able to work flexible hours when needed

Bilingual Chinese & English is a big plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
